Clay Davis
Clay Davis has 30 years of experience in public education and currently serves as an Assistant Principal in Splendora ISD. Prior to administration, he spent 28 years teaching and coaching, primarily as a Communications teacher and co-teacher in Life Skills classrooms.
As a head boys’ basketball coach, Clay led programs at Tatum, Jasper, and Hardin-Jefferson High Schools, earning over 325 wins, nine district championships, and five regional appearances. He has received numerous coaching honors and was part of state championship teams as both a player and coach. Over the past several years,
Clay has used his platform to speak at athletic programs, professional development sessions, and FCA events, inspiring others through his personal story and experience in education and leadership.
